Marius Bo

Marius Bø is one of the co-founders of the Oslo-based collective Ute. A record label and event series spawned out of hosting gatherings, deep in the Norwegian forest. He is also behind Ormbolet, an intimate gathering held in the remote Norwegian mountains. His sets can be seen as a concoction of psychedelic atmospherics, generating dynamic tensions and sublime releases that work both the body and mind, while connecting the dots between old school records and futuristic soundscapes. Whether it’s ambient, idm, trance or techno, the Ute label-head seamlessly blends leftfield sounds with a captivating elegance. His unique approach has brought him to iconic venues such as Pawnshop, Bassiani, FOLD and Macadam, and to renowned festivals like Monument, Organik and Horst.
